Our Mission
Uniting Jacksonville's recovery community through active outdoor fellowship, creating a space built on connection, wellness, and a shared sense of purpose.
Community, Recovery, and Disc Golf
Born from lived experience, D.I.S.C. (Dudes Impacting Sober Communities) Jax Inc. is a volunteer-led community dedicated to helping people move from isolation to authentic connection. We champion the healing power of play, using disc golf to create a fun, stigma-free space for individuals in early sobriety. Our events and annual charity tournament create a ripple effect of support, directly funding the local Jacksonville recovery community.

3rd Annual Dare 2 Disc Event
Coming Fall 2026
Your Impact in Action: The Dare 2 Disc Story
Since our inaugural event in 2024, our community’s generosity and spirit have continually reached incredible new heights. Our annual charity tournaments are a true celebration of recovery, filled with friendly competition, inspiring stories, and a shared sense of purpose that proves the power of connection and play.
Building the Foundation in 2024 In our first year, the Dare to Disc event was a monumental success. Together, we raised over $25,000, allowing us to donate $20,000 directly to local Jacksonville halfway houses to support their life-changing work.
Shattering Records in 2025 By our 2nd Annual Disc Golf Fun Throw & Tournament at Klutho Park, we completely shattered our previous records. Because of you, we made a massive impact right here in Jacksonville.
2025 Event Highlights:
Over $40,000 Raised: Thanks to your incredible support, we significantly expanded our reach.
Direct Community Impact: We proudly donated the proceeds to support the ongoing work of local halfway houses, including Tradition House, 4th Street Service Center, Alco House, and Awakenings.
Massive Turnout: We welcomed 200 people in attendance to enjoy the family-friendly Fun Throw and community fellowship.
Fierce Competition: 100 players signed up and threw down in our PDGA-sanctioned tournament.
