In 2024, our community came together for a truly special event dedicated to our core mission: fostering connection, wellness, and purpose for individuals in recovery. The 2024 Dare to Disc event was more than just a tournament; it was a powerful demonstration of how outdoor fellowship can create lasting, positive change right here in Jacksonville.

The day was filled with energy and camaraderie for everyone involved. We kicked things off with a beginner's disc golf class, where seasoned players shared their passion and helped newcomers learn the basics in a fun, supportive environment. This spirit of encouragement carried over into our main event: a full, PDGA-sanctioned tournament that brought out friendly competition for a great cause.

The celebration culminated in a catered dinner, where we had the honor of hearing from inspirational speakers who shared powerful stories of hope and resilience, reminding us all why this mission is so vital.

  • 200 Free Discs Given Away: Every dollar first went toward our mission, allowing us to provide brand-new discs to participants and welcome newcomers to the sport.

  • $20,000 Donated to Local Halfway Houses: Most importantly, we were proud to make a significant donation directly to our Jacksonville recovery partners, providing them with critical funding to continue their life-changing work.
